Family heritage?
What's yours? My grandparents on my father's side were full of blood of Sweden, my mother's side, Norwegian … and I said to also have a "wee bit-o-Irish" in me, too. Do you? Are not Americans a conglomerate interesting? I guess we're the kind of "Heinz 57" variety .. lol! Is there anything special about his family heritage make it a point to preserve and continue? A tradition familiar, perhaps, or an inheritance handed down from generation to generation? A habit that is special to you? I collect antique replicas of Viking ships and Viking memories and have learned to read the runes.
Native American all the way back to the hut. What my grandmother is most concerned about is our name going for future generations. She came from a large family who are all transmitted with the exception of a sister who married and took her husbands name. My grandmother is worried that our name not later, there will be no more than "we." Another is that she wants for me and my sisters who are married or have children with Native American men, for that our people will continue. That and picnics on Memorial Day and Veterans Day!
