Molding chocolate? Like fondant?

In another question I did what I needed a good alternative to fondant and has the answers great that he could use chocolate molding to cover a cake. I want to make a cake box. Does anyone have recipes for chocolate molding good work for this? ¿I can use white chocolate to paint? Also, does anyone know how I would use the colors of Wilton gel icing color painting in chocolate cast? I have 15 years and want to go to culinary school and become a cake decorator so I could use all the advice on offer and I'll put it all into practice! Am so excited! Thank you all!

I've never worked with molding chocolate, but have worked with rolled buttercream. It is like fondant, but taste like icing buttercream. Ingredients 1 cup corn syrup 1 cup butter * 1 / 2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon vanilla extract clear * 2 pounds confectioners' sugar Directions 1. In a large bowl, combine the shortening and corn syrup. Mix salt and vanilla flavoring, then gradually mix in confectioners' sugar until a stiff dough. If using a standing mixer, use the hook attachment on the pasta. Otherwise, knead by hand. If the dough is sticky, knead in more powdered sugar until smooth. Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in refrigerator. 2. To use, deployed on a clean surface that has been dusted with icing sugar until it is 1 / 8 inch thick or thinner if you can. Replace ice cream and cake ice cream smooth side down, or cut into strips to make bows and other decorations. Anyone wishing to use, here is how the colors painted on it. Take everything clear alcohol (not water based). I use vodka, but how do the 15 use clear vanilla extract. Add your color paste and then use a brush to paint.
