I created a shower pouring mortar and now I want to tile?

I did the whole thing pouring a sand mortar base on a liner, etc. What I can pour a thin layer of mortar and put my small tiles in a sheet on top of wet mortar? . I would love the opportunity to climb level a bit, then put a bit of Portland on it and put my tiles. I do not want to use white glue HD that it takes much longer to dry hard. HELP ……
