Ice was warm for my cake wreck?

I got one of those rose-shaped silicone bundt cake pans as a gift. Not sure if it is to use some special bundt cake mix or not, but for Mother's Day, I thought it would be nice to make a strawberry-flavored cake with pink frosting, because is a rose. I bought some Wilton cake release with the hope that the cake will come out of the frying pan, but I fear that after the ice is to be seen as a large pink stain. I'm not a master in the kitchen so you just bought icing in a tub. If the heat of melting to liquefy more, so that uniformly can put on the petals? Or do you know a simple recipe for some kind of polish I can use?

Heating icing probably become too liquidy. I suggest that you put in a bowl or container with real hot water and stir occasionally until soft enough to spread easly. be sure not to let the water into ice.
